NMT Shipping

STOLEN ITEMSI used NMT to transport my car from Canberra to Perth. As per the instructions from NMT, I had placed a box in my boot shielded from view by a cargo blinder. Upon receiving my car I found that the box had been ransacked and a number of perfumes had been stolen. The items were heavily concealed and the only way to have found them would be to completely unpack and thoroughly search the box.I reported this to NMT and they just relayed company policy to clear themselves of any liability, didn't seem to really care. In their policy they mention that NMT simply suggests" not to place any items in the car however no one really anticipates their items to be ransacked the way mine were

The service was for a delivery aid a mini excavator which was about 19km. I was charged $2200. I believe it was excessive. Unfortunately the money was already deposited and when I received two other quotes I realized the amount I had paid was almost double. I asked for a refund but they said I shouldn’t have her this company. I would definitely not use this company again.

Daniel and the team at NMT Shipping are as always a pleasure to deal with never any problems very easy experience to move machinery always keeping communication on what is happening to your equipment.

Recently got my car shipped from Melbourne to Perth. Hayden from the head office was really helpful but highly disappointed with the people dealing with transit.Had 4 cartons in the boot with clothes and shoes. Shocked to see that each carton was ripped open and all the limited edition sneakers and expensive shoes have been stolen. All they have left behind was just empty boxes.

NMT provided excellent customer service for transport of a camper van from Brisbane to Perth. They were always available to answer queries and receive and deliver the gear without a hitch. I would recommend and use them again without hesitation.

Was left with a $700 storage charge because NMT were not able to deliver & collect our container in a timely manner. Notified on a Thursday container collected Wednesday. Warning to others to find a more reliable broker who doesn't require 6 business days to deliver and collect a container leaving clients with only 48hrs to empty a container.

Very rude. They stole my bag of jewellery and damaged most of our goods that were in our car. The lady first said we are allowed to store things in our car and then days later at the depo, they packed some of our goods in boxes and couriered it to us. It was all damaged. They do not take responsibility for stealing my goods or for the broken goods.
